Actress Bipasha Basu is busy in promotion of DMD

Director Rohan Sippy’s upcoming movie Dum Maaro Dum was present with him for pre-release interviews, at Mehboob Studio in Bandra, a western suburb of Mumbai.

The film’s lead actress Bipasha Basu was, however, present for the promotional party.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who plays a policeman in the film walks in at the studio.

After the successful Bluffmaster, the actor has collaborated with friend Rohan Sippy for the second time.

Glambour actress Bipasha Basu, who is journey in showbiz started in 1996 following winning the Cinthol supermodel competition, says she is highly lucky and satisfied with her successes.

’I just realized my journey has been quiet a long one, from 1996 to 2011. It is just me who knows how much hard work and dedication has gone behind everything.

Outfitted in a formal white outfit with black beads and sequin work on it, she arrived for the the release of Versace collection of watches in relationship with Timex Group.

Personally I think extremely fortunate when I look behind in my life. I’m happy with myself as well as proud of what I am today.

I used to dream of getting such luxurious brands and right now I very easily own a lot of of them,’ said the 32-year-old, who has a fetish for watches.

’The one object which I love the most is the watch. It is essential have possession for everybody. It is also the best gifting choice.

Bipasha Basu celebrates her birthday today.

January sees a lot of birthdays of Bollywood stars. Bipasha Basu, who’s presently in the news for her hot pic on the cover of Maxim magazine, turns a year older today. So how does she plan to celebrate the day?

We hear that Bipasha would be with her family and close friends in Mumbai. There won’t be any big party but just a quiet get-together. Boyfriend John Abraham is expected to be with her.

It’s been ten years since Bipasha stepped into Bollywood with Abbas-Mustan’s thriller Ajnabee for which she won the Filmfare Best Female Debut award, her only notable award till date. During the decade, she was twice voted as ‘Sexiest Woman in Asia’ by the London weekly Eastern Eye.

2010 was rather forgettable for Bipasha with all three films starring her - Pankh, Lamhaa and Aakrosh - falling flat at box office. But 2011 looks promising. Apart from Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maro Dum, she’s doing her first international film Singularity with Josh Harnett. She’s also in Abbas-Mustan’s thriller Players.
